Perfect for flower pots, summer flower plantings, tomato pots, etc.
Makes watering easier and the plants thrive! The roots get moisture from where the roots are.
Dig a pot up to the neck in the ground or a flower pot, fill with water and put the lid on.
(Tip: Put a big wad of sheep's wool at the bottom of the jar to retain moisture, aerate the root zone and release nutrients slowly)
Allow the water to seep into the surrounding growing medium. The roots dig into the porous surface of the pot and absorb the necessary amount of moisture from it.
Fill the pot once or twice a week, depending on the weather.
Consider using sheep's wool as soil protection:
Wool on top of the ground prevents moisture from evaporating from the ground; worms and microbes are fine. Wool is completely biodegradable and contains plenty of nutrients. As wool breaks down, it releases nutrients for plants to use. Nature's cycle at its best!
