Dig the pot in the ground up to the neck, fill with water and put the lid on.

Allow to seep into the surrounding growing medium. The roots dig into the porous surface of the pot and absorb the necessary amount of moisture from it.

Fill the pot once or twice a week, depending on the weather.

Wool on top of the ground prevents moisture from evaporating from the ground; worms and microbes are fine
