Foaming agent for perlite growing medium
-organic, light, clean, safe to use
Perlite is a volcanic substance that, due to intense heating, has turned white and swollen to become very porous and light.
+ increases the airiness of the growing medium, the roots get oxygen and feel better
+ increases the water permeability of the growing medium
+ promotes seed germination
+ pH neutral
+ does not absorb water
+ perlite balances temperature differences in the growing medium, acts as an insulator.
A long-time friend of the growing medium and the root system, Perliit is an organic SOFTENER of the growing medium.
The root system's biggest challenge is a too dense, oxygen-free growing medium. Perlite increases airiness in the growing medium and thus enables a greater supply of oxygen to the root system. Perlite is also excellent for plants that thrive in a growing medium that dries out between waterings. Perlite increases water permeability effectively. The root system is better and the seeds germinate faster
The use of perlite in growing media and soil improvement:
Soil improvement: Mix perlite with dense, e.g. clay-rich soil. Choose as large a grain of perlite as possible for this purpose
Indoor plant growing media: Mix perlite with e.g. Ceramis, vermiculite, coconut fiber, EM biochar, curd moss and small-sized husk or coconut fiber Coarse.
For example: Mix 1: 1/3 perlite, 1/3 vermiculite and 1/3 mulch Mix 2: 1/3 perlite, 1/3 coir, 1/3 Em biochar.
Pre-growing: Mix perlite with soil and vermiculite, making the growing medium more airy and also moisture-retaining
Sowing seeds: Mix perlite with topsoil. Perlite reduces the evaporation of soil moisture, so the seeds germinate better
Hydroponics. Perlite is one of the most used media in hydroponics
