An alternative to plastic-based tarps and weed mats!

For pallet collars, flower beds, flower pots, slopes, under paving, etc.

Protects the ground surface from weeds and sunlight. The growing medium stays more moist and the crop clean.

Make the openings with, for example, the tips of scissors and plant the seedlings through the thick jute fiber mat. Fasten the mat with the fixing hooks .

Before spreading the jute fabric or our other plastic-free covering fabrics on the ground, spread organic fertilizers and Diabaasi stone flour. If the growing medium dries out quickly, add a bucket of ready-to-use i.e. charged/enriched biochar per 1-2 square meters. Biochar absorbs moisture and nutrients and releases them to the plants in the future. Water very well and spread the mat on the surface of the growing medium. Fasten with hooks.

The carpet can be cut with scissors to the desired size/shape. From the fabric, you can also cut catechu discs around small trees/bushes/seedlings etc.
