Bokashi kitchen composter BioProffa Fontana 30 l, stainless steel

An excellent larger bokashi composter for corporate coffee premises, cafes, daycare centers, etc.

Bokashi is an easy and quick way to make nutrient-rich soil and liquid fertilizer from all kitchen bio-waste. The spacious 30-liter Bioproffa Fontana kitchen composter is suitable not only for households but also for coffee shops, for example. Bioprofa Fontana is stylish and durable, it is made of stainless steel. With the Fontana kitchen composter, you can easily and efficiently recycle even larger amounts of biowaste.

Bokashi is fermentation of waste using Bokashi grit in an oxygen-free environment. When the fermentation has finished, the organic material has retained all its important nutrients (especially nitrogen), which would be destroyed in the rotting process. The end result of fermentation is first-class and high-quality pre-composting material and nutrient-rich fermentation liquid. The liquid can be used as a garden and flower nutrient (dilution ratio 1:200-1:1000) and as a pipe cleaner (undiluted). Fontana is full while being heavy, which is why there are sturdy handles on both sides of the container.

The Fontana kitchen composter contains an intermediate grate that separates the liquids from the fermentable mass. Liquids can be directed from the closable tap directly into the canister with the help of a hose. The nutrient-rich liquid makes the plants and the garden flourish.

The composter contains BioProffa dry Bokashi pulp (600g) and comprehensive instructions

Quick instructions for Bokashion:
Add a day or two's worth of biowaste to the Bokashi kitchen composter and spread a handful of bokashi grit always with the new biowaste. When the container is full, spread another generous layer of grits on the surface, close the lid and let it rest for at least 2-3 weeks, preferably at room temperature. Drain liquids through the faucet a few times a week until the flow of liquid stops completely. The pulp is ready for post-processing. You can mix the mass in the outdoor composter or make a so-called a mud factory, where the mass is mixed with soil, covered with soil and allowed to ferment for a few weeks to a few months, depending on the temperature. Both the composter and the "mud factory" must be rodent-proof.
